Spaghetti With Meat Sauce

Spaghetti With Meat Sauce is an Italian-American dish that usually consists of spaghetti, tomato sauce and meat.

Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 lb Italian sausage
• 2 green bell peppers
• 1 large sweet onion
• 20 garlic (a handful)
• 2-4 tbsp raw honey (To offset acid taste from tomatoes)
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1/2 tbsp pepper
• 1 tbsp basil
• 1 tbsp oregano
• 28 oz diced canned tomatoes
• A regular jar - pasta sauce
• Spaghetti pasta

Instructions

1. Brown the ground beef and the Italian sausage.
2. Add all the ingredients and simmer in medium heat for 30 min.
3. Taste and add additional seasoning as needed. If the acidity is too high use honey to offset and balance the flavor.
4. Boil water with salt and olive oil. Cook pasta for 5 min and let it sit for 2 min for al dente.

Additional Notes

Use the raw honey to offset acidity as needed.
