Very hearty, fast, great winter meal, can be served with or without beans and cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb ground chuck
- 1 large green pepper
- 2 medium onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tsp salt,
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 quart (16oz) can undrained tomatoes, can be pureed before adding
- 1 16 oz can dark red kidney beans, undrained
Instructions
- Brown beef, pepper, onion, and garlic, stir in 1-1/2 tsp salt and the pepper and 1 Tbsp chili powder. Do not drain. Add tomatoes and rest of chili powder to meat and stir. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, let simmer uncoverd 2 hours.
- Add kidney beans, and cook 30 minutes to and 1 hour.
Additional information
Garnish with sour cream, cheddar, or parmesan cheese. Substitute ground turkey for a healthier choice. Remove beans to make this Keto friendly.
